Good PDR vs bad PDR

A good repair disappears. A bad one leaves a dent-shaped ghost you notice every time the sun hits it.

Signs of a bad job

  • Small bumps or “pimples” where tools pushed too far
  • A wavy or rippled look when you see a reflection in the panel
  • Cracked or chipped paint from pushing too hard
  • Holes drilled for access that didn’t need to be there
  • Filler or touch-up paint on a “paintless” repair

What done right looks like

  • Straight, clean reflection lines across the panel
  • Factory paint untouched
  • A straight answer before work starts if a dent can’t be fixed paintlessly
  • Checked with you under a light when it’s done

Quick test

Look at the panel at an angle and watch a straight line (a roofline, a light) move across it. If the line stays straight, the repair is good.
